Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
I would love to help you, Marnie, but unfortunately as I a: live in Unova and b: am extremely busy this week with helping Rosa and the Elite 4 (I’m not sure how I got roped into this either) I won’t able to.

Unlike this King Bowser, our king, His Majesty King Dedede, is a good king who cares about his subjects. He listens to every our complaint and tries to remedy it. He feeds us, houses us, and doesn't leave us to die stupidly on a battlefield. He has saved the universe several times with the help of the good Kirby and only falls to the dark side through coercion. He is the very personification of a noble monarch and I am proud to be one of his subjects.
"D Os"? What's that? Doctors of osteopathic medicine (it's what showed up on Google)?
Oh, thanks.

Please visit the "AITA" forum game[1] Hey, can EV help out with that?
Only works if your avatar's setting doesn't have anything that would break modern physics, such as time travel or a violation of conservation of energy. Otherwise, the matter from EV's homeworld won't be compatible
[2] Plastic by itself is very useful - it's durable, flexible, easy to produce and can resist natural decay! The only problem with plastic - the fact that it's difficult to recycle or break down chemically (no, burning doesn't count) - only starts appearing if you waste the material.
Also, just a heads-up - a lot of universes out there don't have the four cardinal elements that you're used to, but a total of 83 stable elements and 35 more radioactive elements. The type of plastic that most people are familiar with is called Polyethylene or PET, and it's made of chains of two carbon atoms (#6) and four hydrogen atoms (#1), for example. A periodic table this big might seem confusing at first - but with a bit of maths, it makes a lot of sense.

Also, King Dedede is a very good fighter and masters the ancient art of the hammer. He is a very good protector of our kingdom and no longer puts his interests above others. He can be lazy and a bit clumsy sometimes, but his heart is in the right place. He also has a very good assistant in the person of Bandana Waddle dee.
I have the feeling that you're gushing a little too much. Did our king give you a promotion ? It's better if we get out of here, since there's a very odd maiden who threatened other mooks on this thread.

Oh, I see how it is. At least my degree in alchemical engineering let me escape the fall of House Van Tassen.
grimdark is for losersPerhaps, though I currently don't know of a Pokemon that could turn this plastic into something that could be reused.
No problem. Online donations are usually sufficient, not everyone has to attend in person. Anyway, the fundraising event is going well so far today.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - Iris[1] Got a question for you - there's a video game with a surprisingly accurate portrayal of my homeworld called Dyson Sphere Program. The game portrays an engineer's task of building a Dyson sphere around a star of his choice, though there are a few differences between it and my homeworld, mainly recipe costs vary, recipe complexity is way higher and planets and distances are way bigger in real life than what you see in the game.
Keep in mind, what I'm about to tell you won't make you any less real - I mean, you can still pinch yourself and it hurts, right? - but there's a video game featuring you as the main character, and I was wondering: how accurately does this video portray the transmutation engine?
OOC: My Icarus is a big fan of Zachtronics games, so obv he's very interested
"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt FriedrichsI'm not entirely sure what a "video game" is, but what you have linked does seem to be a rather accurate simulation of a transmutation engine. Of course, it's not perfect, for example the transmutation engine I used at home doesn't have infinite space. Repeating product outputs are also typically raised surfaces rather than just a hole in the board. I remember making that product, it was for a thief to steal a shipment of lead ore from our former house.

CAC: Guys, Season 241 of the multiversal Hunger Games is happening right now, and you won't believe what just happened in the first in-universe day. The freaking ozone layer ate beef jerky and now the sky is lined with it. And... (Sees the Waddle Dee) one of your people managed to make a Kaiju jump up in pain after throwing a potted catcus at it.
CAC: Yeah, those games are the embodiment of weirdness, I know.
I know about that. Someone took part in that while impersonating me just a few seasons ago. She made me look bad.
Ever wanted to see the most inexplicably horrifying intro to a game ever?
multiversal hunger games? whats that? sounds interesting
Multiversal battles kind of seem scary to me. Rifts between entire universes from which we have no comprehension...

"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - IrisSturmvoravs-7 is online
I've been in this basement for several nights.
The shapeshifter is speaking to me. I can hear it's words - no, it's revelations!
I was wrong! This is no mere beast to be disected, but a specimen that carries knowledge from beyond!
I can sense it! I'm reaching metaphysical awareness! I can peep into the infinite! I feel my mere Spark is turning into a Consuming Fire!
Wait — why the shapeshifter is telling me "Nothing is worth the risk"?!
Please visit the "AITA" forum game... GAH!! The shapeshifter thing just ... got away! Just like that: zip - gone! I can't believe it!
I was this close to attaining a second breakthrough! A once in a lifetime chance, that only a fraction of Sparks ever get close to! Gone! Life can be cruel sometimes ...
Though I should probably look on the bright side - at least I'm not hiding from it in this basement anymore. Gil and Colette probably think I'm dead! I've gotta get back to them ASAP.
(So close! I could practically touch ascension!)
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameNo, I think what you were touching was insanity. There’s a difference there.
“You carry the aura of the stars, interesting...”the difference between insanity and genius is frighteningly thin
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingNot related to anything in particular, but here's something I found on the net today:
fuckarus.apng
The image shows a low-quality sketch (as in, MS Paint or Wojak level of low quality) of Icarus' "trademark" construction mech, ominously staring down the viewer and visibly charging up a plasma cannon. The image is captioned "YOU HAVE VIOLATED BASIC HUMAN DECENCY".
This image, and variants of it have been trending in my homeworld's internet... I should probably document my interactions with the multiverse better.

Don't look at me. It was probably made by one of the people you stopped from doing their thing. Can't be the green guy, it would etch it into a rock, not us MS paint.
Wait, send a reference of Icarus. I might be able to make "fuckarus" myself.

Mind if I cut in? Can't have some insanity without me, wahehe!
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!
Sigh....
