Mostly cleaning up the entries from Character pages with Zero Context Examples, or re-labeling the types, depending on the context. Is it okay to leave the entry, if they have multiple labels assigned to it?

For example, Accelerator from A Certain Magical Index is labelled as such:

  • Anti-Hero: The biggest example in the series.
    • Nominal Hero: At the beginning.
    • Unscrupulous Hero: Post-Heel Face Turn.
      • Other Anti-Hero traits (not necessarily related to the sliding scale of morality) Accelerator possesses are:
    • Byronic Hero: Post-Heel Face Turn, he'd go rescue people and still act like a Jerkass, as Misuzu found out.
    • '90s Anti-Hero: He is a card carrying example of this. He has a rough but simple name, is ridiculously powerful, doesn't care about hurting people who get in his way, and a Badass with angst and sarcasm to boot.
    • Sociopathic Hero: He still acts Ax-Crazy while curb-stomping bad guys.

Personally, I do not like to have tropes being subbullets of other tropes.

Perhaps, but I think it's easier to keep track of related tropes associated to the character. Without the sub-bullets, the examples would go all over the place, and I personally think it's not very convenient.

Per official wiki policy, tropes are not supposed to be put as sub-bullets of other tropes, in the same way that examples are not supposed to be put as sub-bullets of other examples. Generally speaking, you want to use the most specific subtrope applicable, and only the subtrope (as opposed to both the super- and sub-trope).

Yes, but what if there's multiple sub-tropes? Should the subtropes be split, and the supertrope removed? If the character undergoes Character Development, or have a Beneath the Mask situation or whatever, he or she is bound to have more than one Anti-Hero label that can be attributed.

I would cite the subtropes and the supertrope at the same time.

Official policy is that all the tropes should be listed on their own, single-bullet, correctly alphabetized line. So yes, officially, the supertrope and all the subtropes should be split.

Just came across this thread. Seeing as this other one has a clearer title and less distracting "already-done" stuff, I moved information about the cleanup there and will lock this.

The Pragmatic Hero YKTTW is suffering from a problematic description. Here are some options to consider.

These options are not mutually exclusive.
