I released a new album a few days ago, yclept Christmas Wishes, and in some ways I think it's the best thing I've put out thus far, although I am not blind to its small failings.
On the one hand, your songwriting is pretty solid and I like the aesthetic your going for; on the other hand, you really, really need to work on your vocals.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.I just put together Ruins Your Favorite Songs, a compilation of deliberately silly/half-assed/"of questionable relation to the original" cover songs I've done over the years. The very earliest is a kazoo cover of "War Pigs" I recorded on cassette in 2000 (when I was 18) and the very latest is a cover of The Fugs' "Nothing" I did earlier this year for the sake of messing around with digital vocal effects and panning.

For the past year or so, I've been making music that combines shoe gaze, ambient and hip together. I haven't released any real albums, but I have more than a couple songs. This is my most recent effort: Ornithologist - Nothing Profound
What fate a slugcat...I want to try and make an industrial/noise/generally "spooky" album in time for Halloween this year. This is the first song specifically made with that in mind (I might include some older songs I haven't put on albums yet if I feel they fit the vibe). This song is named after a pulp fiction story, the main instrumentation is a melodica slowed down and digitally distorted beyond recognition, and I used chopped up/reversed samples of a Chinese opera record for something vaguely Ominous Latin Chanting-ish.

Since 2014, I've put out at least one (if not more) song on this day to commemorate me getting slightly older. This year's is a single about my first phone -- a second-generation Motorola RAZR.
It's also the lead single from Battery, Life., my fourth full-length album. It'll be out sometime next year. I hope you dig it.

I have been making music since 2009. In fact, way way way back in the day I released one of my first albums on this very forum (it might even be in this thread if you go back far enough)
but anyway. I make a lot of atmospheric trip-hop / "cloud rap" stuff, primarily under the name planet Jane but I have a lot of side projects as well which run the entire gamut of what you can do with FL Studio (and some supplementary programs), so it's a bit all across the map.
Here, first of all, is my Bandcamp page: https://planetjane.bandcamp.com
and here's my last few releases:
Magic Planet 8 is from a few months back and most indicative of my general sound: https://planetjane.bandcamp.com/album/magic-planet-8
☯️horrorspiel☯️ is a collection of unrelated vaporwave sketches, the album on the whole is credited to bluesphere2800 but I used a couple different names for this one: https://planetjane.bandcamp.com/album/collected-vapor-experiments
In The Gun With A Jungle is a future funk-inspired EP under the Pink Ko Kane name. Fun experiment, though I'm not sure if I'll return to the style. Also one of these tracks started out as a tribute to the late Tom Petty but you can't really tell in the transformed form it appears in here, just some fun trivia: https://planetjane.bandcamp.com/album/in-the-gun-with-a-jungle-ep
Comissioned For "Bones of Creation" was a soundtrack I was paid to make for an RPG Maker game. There's a link to the game itself in the description: https://planetjane.bandcamp.com/album/comissioned-for-bones-of-creation
I'm also releasing an EP tomorrow and will update this post then provided I remember.
Do enjoy, tell me if you like anything you here (and why if you're so inclined), and if you're able I do always appreciate a few bucks being thrown my way, though it's by no means mandatory.

it's either real or it's a dream there's nothing that is in betweenLet's welcome DJ Shadow to TV Tropes, everybody
well I like Shadow (who doesn't?) so I can't say I'm insulted by the comparison or anything.
It's fairly likely I've been here longer than you though.
it's either real or it's a dream there's nothing that is in betweenIt wasn't meant to be insulting in the first place
Hi, Jane. :3
Just so everyone knows, Magic Planet 8 and nightmare margin are pretty dope.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.predictably I forgot. I will link it now though, here: https://planetjane.bandcamp.com/album/nightmare-margin-ep
>It wasn't meant to be insulting in the first place
well that's fair, but it can be hard to tell.
also hello again Sredni.
it's either real or it's a dream there's nothing that is in betweenI know that I already posted about it, but! V 3 i is on Spotify now.
You can also find it on Google Play, iTunes/Apple Music, and just about everywhere else people Listen to Things. Just look for “Trevor Whatevr” (note the spelling) and it should be there.
I feel accomplished.
oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘So I found an old cd-r with some of my earliest attempts at sampling/looping stuff on it, and put one of the songs up on my soundcloud for the hell of it. This was done around 2001-2002 as part of a class project, and I was just using loops straight from a Sony ACID library and adding a couple additional spoken samples (of The Sifl and Olly Show and a Weezer radio interview).
Oh, that industrial/dark ambient EP I was speaking of up-thread is complete. The album cover is a picture I snapped coming home on a particularly foggy night - I was going to put the band name and/or album title on there, but decided to have a Textless Album Cover for once because it looked spookier that way.

I never posted my album in here, whoops.
Magic Planet 9. Give it a listen if you like trip-hop or vaporwave.
I also made a remix of "Rhythm of The Night" the other day that I quite like a lot. Link.
it's either real or it's a dream there's nothing that is in betweenI do music too from here: http://inklingbear.bandcamp.com Sometimes my music not on there is on my youtube as well c:
I make all types of music when I have the time (well, all except rock music) and I should be coming out with another album soon when I have enough songs for it. I'm into most types of EDM music here so I'm adventurous to any music anybody posts here as well xD
Rawr.I had the idea of making a Concept Album/EP full of breakup songs, but now it's turning into one about strained/awkward personal relations if anything. This is a spoken word piece with electronic backing, kinda based around a line of thought I had while being overwhelmed by a crowd.
I Actually got a Nu-Metalcore/Electropunk/Industrial/Hip-Hop thing going with a couple of friends. We made a few instrumental demos, but we're just taking baby steps with it.
Catch me on The Zenith - Denzel CurryI made a music video with Moviemaker for an 11-year-old song. The reason I didn't pick a more recent song was 1) I plan on doing more and might even make one video per song for all of my albums, in chronological order, and 2) for some reason I felt the footage I found worked the best with this particular piece. Also, I half-jokingly told myself that the goal of this and any other music videos I do is to be "more interesting to look at than a still image of the album cover".
Oh yeah, the album I was talking about making before is finished, and it's called Connectivity Issues. The first five out of six songs ended up loosely fitting my "Concept Album about human relations" idea, and the last one I liked too much to get rid of. The "concept album" thing encouraged me to do more songs featuring my own voice, and that might be a direction I pursue further.

Took a while but here's my latest demo release.
Catch me on The Zenith - Denzel CurryI can't post external links but my name on Bandcamp is polypropyl. I'm fairly new so I have only one album but there will be more soon...
Hi, name's Mike.
And here's the double album. I Have a Deep Loathing Towards the Rest of This Town. It's a mix of all these elements like indie pop, lo-fi, noise rock, queercore, post-rock, krautrock, and even drone. If any of that sounds appealing, I recommend checking it out.
Should note that technically, as of the time I'm writing this, it's not out yet. It will, however, be officially released onto Bandcamp tonight at midnight EST, so watch out for that.
