No, not that kind.

So where is your avatar from? Care to share what avatars you use, or discuss avatars in general?

No, not that kind.

So where is your user picture from? Care to share what pics you use on other forums? (I know we used to have a thread about this, but it seems it was lost in The Great Crash.)

My current avatar, and all my previous avatars, are from Gunnerkrigg Court. So it's probably safe to assume that all my future avatars will be from there as well.

Got annoyed at not having an avatar for so long. After watching Code Geass, googled for a Lelouch picture and swiped it from deviantart

I've never watched Code Geass, and before this, I always imagined that Lelouch had blond hair.

I'm not sure exactly where mine is from. I vaguely recall it being from one of those "random webpages of LO Lsome images you look at when bored at work" and this was of amusing graffiti.

I found one of them (Police now targeting DONUTS) particularly amusing and ended up cropping it for future icon use. When I created a forum profile, I was looking for an appropriately sized icon in my icon directory and this one just looked like the right kind of snark for my Tropey online persona.

The "title" writing that comes underneath that. I like it because there's several different ways you could interpret it.

And Charlatan, yes I can assure you that your avatar is indeed Nightmare Fuel. But then, I never did like Rei Ayanami and found the sheer amount of Rule Thirty Six surrounding her supremely Squicksome.

This is aera from summon night swordcraft story 2. It kind of works for now.

Funny, I thought of rei as a sympathetic character, but I still have to adblock that avatar so it won't follow me around in the dark. x_x

I don't know why I find it funny. It looks sorta absurd to me. That and I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Nightmare Fetishist, which probably means I have an odd liking for the sorts of things.

I briefly had a more stylized picture of Fawriel in there, but I'm no longer happy with it. I tried going back to the green Furret instead, but then I got an error message telling me that an image with that name had already been uploaded... and it would've felt silly uploading the same picture again with a different filename. Shouldn't there be some way to go back to a previous avatar?

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo. Whoever immediately recognizes my current avatar and got a big grin out of it as much as I did, gets a free hug!

On another note, now I see why my avatar creeps people out. <TWITCH!>

On other communities, I get a lot of "that guy's creepy" responses to my avatar. Head-scratcher for me, but I guess I can kinda see it...

But more fun is to be had when someone who knows nothing about the source is asked to guess what it is. I've gotten "police officer", "WWII Japanese soldier", and "zombie". None of which are correct. :P Those last two, if you know the source, are kinda funny together...

Why... why did you think my avatar was creepy, Cherry? You, of all people, who have the avatar of a Nazi vampire!

A picture of Ena from the chapter Yotsuba & the Pool from Yotsuba&!.
