Random conversation post:

A few years ago I built an air cannon. A long ½" pipe with a valve tank and check valve. I'd get the tank to 100 PSI and load a dead AA battery. Man, that thing could shoot through ½" plywood at 20 yards!

Last year I modified it to shoot a type of firework that crackles. I'd fill the tank, light the crackler, drop it in the muzzle and cook it off until just the right time. Then I'd shoot it and it would burst midair.

Pointless observation: Yomi is ostensibly facepalming in this screencap◊, but it looks more to me like she's having a Gendo moment. The fact that Yomi's specs tend to show up opaque in the show doesn't help.
