The Master lives as long as The Doctor lives I think, there's bound to be something revealed in the future how they have a sort link to each other that prevents either dying

New theme music also a boxIt'd be nice if they revealed that nope, O is actually between Saxon and Missy. Missy herself mentioned she wasn't sure if Saxon becomes her, which is Moffat saying "if you really want the Master to have a permanent Heel–Face Turn, stay dead, or want to do some interesting time stuff, be my guest"
I go by interesting time stuff because Moffat loves the Timey-Wimey Ball and has more causal loops than any other producer.
I'm pretty sure Missy says that Saxon becomes her when she stabs him in "The Doctor Falls."
I think she said she comes after Saxon but I don't think it's definitely the case that Saxon regenerates directly into Missy. It was the logical conclusion at the time but the O-Master is proof there are more incarnations than we thought.

"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."Dawan has made it clear in interviews he comes after Missy. Fans are just in denial about it because they want Missy's redemption preserved
I used to want him to come before Missy, but that really does cut off any development if she’s the end.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.I don't want her to be the last Master. But I don't like the idea of a master immediately after Missy putting the Doctor in deadly situations just because.
We need a Master that's just a giant troll. Not siding with any evil aliens, not killing anyone. Just showing up to make the Doctor's life difficult for kicks and giggles.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! This is the third time Redemption Equals Death was planned, and the second time it was ignored because unlike the Doctor the Master isn't allowed such Character Development(first time was planned for Roger Delgado's Master, then his car fell off a cliff. Joker Immunity doesn't just keep villains alive, but evil. Hmm...maybe Superboy-Prime was right in saying the writers are the real villains.
Also, has there ever been consensus on the writers whether Peter Pratt/Geoffery Beaver's living corpse Master is a different incarnation from Roger Delgado's or not? Do they even care, given the Doctor seems the only Time Lord who significantly changes with regeneration?
> we need a Master that's just a giant troll.
With a club too so he can thump the doctor?
New theme music also a boxThe Master has always had Troll attitudes to him. The Delgado incarnation outright admitted he invades Earth mainly because he likes to mess with and play the Friendly Enemy game with 3(or "notice me sempai").
A thought: there is not a single time in the show where River and the Doctor aren't out of sync. I thought Name of the Doctor might've counted because River is a Virtual Ghost and 11 has always known that, but 12 meets River right before she meets him. If 13+ and River's Virtual Ghost ever meet, they'd finally be in sync
Finale has aired in the UK.
Morbius Doctors count!
Lots of other ground to cover, but for such a crucial Wham! Episode, it was remarkably simple.
Those Cybermen are lousy shots though
Festive special confirmed at the end of the credits. Revolution of the Daleks

The montage is gonna give me serotonin for at least a week. And the Master is so broken I love them. (vague and unspoilered cos we all knew this)

I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. So was the episode arguing that the Master has an inferiority complex towards the Doctor? I was hoping that the Master's motivation for this series was genuine anger over the Doctor being wronged.
Still, the Master was very very good in this. It felt like an inverse of the Doctor Falls, where now it's the Master asking the Doctor to stand with them.
I expect over a hundred parallel gifsets by the morning.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. He really does feel like a continuation of the Simm master. But, it's really well executed. I like it.
This reveal is going to be a Broken Base like no other
Every attempt to add things to the time lord lore is decried as ruining the show forever.
Espically when you don't need to.
The show is about a daft old alien with a magic box travelling through time and space and having adventures.
Anything else is superflouous.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundLike I get why some people might not like it, but (open on main oops) as an abused kid, the Doctor being medically abused as a child and choosing their name, and being so good with children, gave me a lot of feelings.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. That's gonna be... an experience, watching all DW fandom going full Star Wars Fandom.
So, not to undercut all this, but Cyber Lords, or Timer Men?
Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.Okay, I haven't bothered asking until now, but does anyone know of any streaming services that upload the episodes when they actually air? So far I've watched it on Amazon, but for some reason they only upload them at 2:00 AM CT the next day. But for an episode this big, I'd prefer to watch it sooner than later.
Anyone have any ideas?

I mean I think people get (or should get) that the Master never stays dead and the article was pointing that out, we just want a confirm that they went from trying to redeem themselves to razing Gallifrey due to the trauma of whatever they found out.
