YMMV / The Bill Cosby Fun Game

Go To

  • Crosses the Line Twice: A game where you play as Bill Cosby sounds rather uncomfortable given his actions in real life. However, this game absolutely runs with it having him kill random celebrity look-alikes, committing suicide by allowing himself to get run over by Michael Knight, and selling Steve Urkel's rotting corpse on eBay to the point of absolute absurdity.
  • Good Bad Bugs: A glitch in the game allows Bill Cosby to kill people without pudding. The button to make Cosby offer pudding still works despite him not having any. The victim briefly stops, allowing Cosby to swing his camera at just the right moment.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: While already presented as Black Comedy from Bill Cosby's initial rape trial, the game has since become much harder to stomach after a bigger wave of sex assault allegations ended Cosby's career for good. To make matters worse, there's this dedication that shows up upon winning the game:
This game is dedicated to Bill Cosby. Here's hoping you conquer your demons and deliver more decades of laughs!
  • Scrappy Mechanic: After you kill Carl Winslow, there's the risk that he'll rob Cosby blind or break his camera.
  • Unintentional Period Piece:
    • The game takes place before the allegations Cosby faced in the mid 2010s which led to his actual conviction in 2018.
    • The soundtrack includes "Low Rider" by War (Band) which at that point in time opened The George Lopez Show and "Always and Forever" from Napoleon Dynamite.
