YMMV / Re:Mind

  • Harsher in Hindsight: Kakizaki Memi, who faces her impending disappearance in the story with relief instead of fear, graduated from Hinatazaka in 2019, allegedly due to being a victim of stalking. Iguchi Mao, the first girl to vanish, also graduated in 2020 due to a scandal.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • In Majisuka Gakuen, also produced by Akimoto Yasushi and also starring members of a group he produces (AKB48), there's another Watanabe (Mayu, a.k.a. Nezumi) who's also the daughter of a politician, although that one is more explicitly a Corrupt Politician.
    • Keyakizaka46's first album is titled Masshirona Mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru (真っ白なものは汚したくなる, "Pure White Things are to be Stained"), which is what happens to Masshiro Seigi (Perfect Justice or Pure White Righteousness) in this series.
  • Periphery Demographic: The show is primarily made for Hiragana Keyakizaka46 fans, but is a pretty decent Ontological Mystery in its own right and enjoyed by some fans of that genre, as well as Netflix binge-watchers in general.
