  • Accidental Innuendo: This line from "Homophobic". In context, it's about Jogchem wanting to feel comfortable around his doctor, whom he suspects is gay; but outside of it, it sounds like he's going for a different reason.
Looks like I have to make another appointment. Or maybe two. Until I feel comfortable with the doctor.
  • Alternative Joke Interpretation: The ashes of the dead dog in "Hermit". Is it a joke about people's ability to get lost in mourning or about him getting "bitches"?
  • Archive Binge: The website has over 250 entries in the Dutch version alone, a lot of which contain interactive parts. This is made all the easier thanks to the "random" button at the bottom of the page and the frequent interwoven links.
  • Common Knowledge: The site has a reputation among certain circles as being "creepy" or "disturbing", frequently appearing in lists and articles on mysterious websites. While a couple of the pages contain some Nightmare Fuel, the website as a whole is a harmless art project and is much more frequently funny.
  • Hollywood Pudgy: "Fat" has Jogchem question if he's getting thinner, or just used to being fat. In the accompanying animation, he doesn't look particularly overweight.
  • Ho Yay: Ironically enough, "Homophobic" comes across as particularly homoerotic. After Jogchem fears that he's homophobic because he doesn't know any gay people, which the doctor tells him is because he knows few people in general, he begins to suspect that the doctor himself is gay and books another appointment so that he can "feel comfortable with the doctor".
  • Nausea Fuel: The rat that dissects itself, revealing exposed organs.
