YMMV / Naru-Hina Chronicles

Go To

  • Archive Panic: At more than 250 chapters (which are just as long as a regular Naruto issue) and more than 5000 pages, no wonder some people might feel intimidated by its sheer length.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: This comic began a whole six years before Naruto and Hinata canonically became a couple in the final chapter of Naruto and The Last: Naruto the Movie. It also features Sasuke and Shikamaru dating Sakura and Temari respectively, both of which also became canon at the same time as Naruto and Hinata.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The webcomic introduces early on a masked warrior with the same hair and jutsus as Jiraiya, who is then revealed to be indeed, a revived Jiraiya. Come Boruto, over 6 years later, and the story introduces Koji Kashin, a masked warrior that looks like Jiraiya and has the same jutsus as him, and is then revealed to be indeed, a clone of the sannin.
  • I Knew It!: At a certain point, Naruto expresses a desire to learn more about the woman who raised him during the first four years of his life. When Tsunade tries to discourage him from learning more about said woman, many readers guessed that the latter was Tsunade herself. This was confirmed two chapters later.
  • Slow-Paced Beginning: The first few chapters are kind of generic and don't do anything new or outstanding. However, once the main couple has already been established, the main cast expands considerably, more relationhips start to form, and new plot elements show up, and the story becomes much more engaging and enjoyable. The art style also improves a lot by that point as well.
