- Fan Nickname: In keeping with the monikers given to Erika and Sophie, fans have given Elly the name "Otakugirl", due to her appearance in this strip
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Fans seem pretty interested in Elly, who first appeared in this strip, even giving her the name "Otakugirl" in the process.
- Funny Moments: Sophie's way of dealing with a pair of Sickening Sweethearts who insist on smooching passionately right next to her on a bench is to read out loud a passage from a medical textbook about how filthy and unsanitary the human mouth is.Sophie: (as the lovers are quickly leaving) Oh, excuse me; did I make you feel uncomfortable?
- Heartwarming Moments: This bonus strip, in which Arthur admits that he treasures Sophie's smiles.
- Love to Hate: Clara. She may be an intolerant, hypocritical, self-righteous, abrasive extremist, but she's so ridiculous that it's hard not to be entertained by her antics.
- One True Pairing: The comic itself seems to be gearing towards a legitimate romance between Sophie and Artur, with his interactions leaning more towards the friendly with Erika (who, mind you, harbors a crush for him herself) and Elly. Compare these two strips which came out for Valentine's Day in 2018 and see for yourself.
- One True Threesome: That being said, a significant chunk of the fanbase ships Artur with both his roommates.
- The Scrappy: Megan (a character who had appeared in several strips since #176) did not win people over with her attitude towards Artur here, and it really doesn't help that she comes across as a Green-Eyed Monster once she sees how happy Erika and Sophie are around him. She's also widely considered less funny than Clara.
- Strawman Has a Point: Sure it's outright silly for Erika's mother to believe that games like Tetris breed serial killers even when presented with many other factors to a person becoming violent, but considering that Erika is unable to tell fiction from reality at times, she may have some right to be concerned.
