  • Base-Breaking Character: As with many others of his type, Maradonio is this upon his introduction. Many people like him for being a Child Prodigy with many good jokes and lines, with many feeling he is a fine addition to the show; on the other hand, most fans and other people can't stand him, mainly because they feel his introduction was the point the show declined, and also that despite having more common-sense, he also tretaed Bibi poorly (granted, he is a child, so he probably is just imitating his family without knowing any better).
  • Delusion Conclusion: Because of the show's fluffy and bright aesthetic, many people believe that the show is in Bibi's mind, primarily for being the only one with common sense and who doesn't wear plush, with many believing she is comatose.
  • Designated Monkey: From the second season onwards, Bibi went from the "weird" daughter whose parents occasionally showed her affection, to an outright punching bag; a gag associated with her is that Ludovico and Federica constantly put her down for anything and everything, doubling down when she tries to explain herself. Furthermore, she even gets punished for anything they wouldn't punish her brothers Ludoviquito, Junior, and Maradonio for. Therefore, this made viewers feel sorry for her instead of laughing, especially those who had abusive families. Some of the most notorious iterations of this gag:
    • The twentieth episode of the second season, "El Dedotes," show Ludovico and Federica constantly scolding Bibi for protesting their decision to invite the titular delinquent over to the house because they thought he was her boyfriend. Even when Bibi points out his tattoos, knife, and gun show he's up to no good, the couple shuts her down in a way it looks like they want to get rid of her. Not even the reveal of "El Dedotes" being a homicidal butcher stopped them from scolding her, because the policeman who arrested him called him "famous" instead of "infamous".
    • The third season episode "Qué partida de… dominó" when Ludovico sends Bibi home by herself and tells her to hitchhike a truck. When she came home, she tried to explain a trucker took her away and tried to rape her, only for her parents to blame her for provoking the trucker. And this was played for laughs.
  • Fandom-Specific Plot: Most fanfics of the show revolve around Bibi having enough of the abuse her family puts her through and decided to give them a taste of their own medicine; most of them are labeled as Creepypastas, so you know what to expect.
  • Fanon Discontinuity: Many fans would rather pretend that the show only has one season, as they feel uncomfortable with the show becoming more mean-spirited in tone.
  • Seasonal Rot: The second and third seasons are a bit divisive among fans:
    • Starting with Season 2, while it does have a large portion of fans who consider it a pretty decent follow-up that still has clever jokes and storylines, especially considering that it came back from a hiatus, other fans don't think to kidly of it, mostly because most of the characters became more unlikeable and unsympathetic, and that's without getting into how they treat Bibi here; on the technical aspect, it also changed for a different camera and lighting effects to make it look more cinematic, which many feel that rather than looking impressive, it made the show look rather cold and uninviting.
    • Meanwhile, the third season, while it did improve the technical aspects, many fans still don't have a high opinion of it, as while it did have some optimistic conclusions, they still had issues with the fact that most of the characters were still being huge jerks, and most of them really don't care for Maradonio. Because of this, this third season was the last, with plans for a movie and another season being on hold, which was not helped by Derbez hitting it big in Hollywood.
