YMMV / Fuuto P.I.

  • Awesome Art: While the art in the original manga was already very good, the anime cranks it up a notch with its incredibly lush animation (courtesy of Studio KAI) allowing for fight scenes and transformation sequences that the series's live-action predecessor could only dream of.
  • Awesome Music:
  • Friendly Fandoms: Thanks to the fact that Studio KAI has several staff members that formerly worked on Symphogear, and to the fact that several of the fandom are already Kamen Rider fans, you'll see plenty of Symphogear fans around.
  • Gateway Series: Despite being a sequel, thanks to the various changes done to the adaptation to make it easier for new viewers (such as animating Begins Night), Fuuto PI has proven to be many anime fans' first step into Kamen Rider, as well as Toku as a medium. It also helps that the characters explain the different forms of W, it works especially well when they have to explain FangJoker due to its unique circumstances.
  • Just Here for Godzilla: The series garnered attention from fans just for the novelty of being a mainstream Kamen Rider ANIME, something that many thought was never going to happen before its debut.
  • Nightmare Fuel: While the Kamen Rider W Dopants were freaky enough as it is, they look more like Bedsheet Ghosts by comparison to the Manga Dopants, which takes full advantage of not having to conform to costume limitations. As such, the Dopants originating in the sequel look straight out of hell.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: Toei's special effects budget has always been hit or miss when it comes to transformations, but Double's transformation animated by Studio KAI is absolutely beautiful. And it's applied to the entire series in general.
