YMMV / Decker Shado

Go To

  • Discredited Meme: On Decker's older videos, it's not uncommon to see comments comparing his appearance to "Weird Al" Yankovic. During Decker's review of Rob Zombie's Halloween II (2009), Decker begrudgingly acknowledges the meme during Weird Al's cameo in the film. Since then, his fanbase has stopped acknowledging the similarities and moved on.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In his review of Rambo III after seeing Rambo kill the villain by both hanging him and blowing him up, Decker chimes "Rambo in Mortal Kombat, do it!" Five years later after he posted that review (2015), guess who gets a guest spot in Mortal Kombat 11?
    • In the February 20th, 2022 episode of his live stream series Live & Wired, the community poll for that week was related to the then upcoming Halo (2022) jokingly asked viewers which body part of Master Chief would be shown next after his face reveal with the most voted for option being his butt. Come episode 3 of the series, we see exactly that in the scene where John is completely naked removing the suppressor pellet in his spine with Cortana's help.
  • Ship Tease: with That Long-Haired Creepy Guy.
  • Special Effects Failure: In the review he did with That Long-Haired Creepy Guy about Freddy vs. Jason, the use of split screen for the doppelgangers' appearance wasn't seamless as the right side is lighter than the left, as well as his doubles' hair waving when they moved and what swayed into the seam disappearing when the hair hits it. It is lampshaded with the subtitle "Just ignore that..." down the seam.
