Her job as a fashion designer might not only tie into the stereotype of France being home to various models, fashion brands and fashion designers, but also to the titular catwalk, and the fact that the term 'catwalk' (the type of walk used by models to demonstrate clothing and accessories during a fashion show, not a different name of runway) looks similar to the movement of the felines.
Those who first learned of existence of Hector from Sylvester And Tweety Mysteries could find it weird that Hector in this show has grey fur, while in that show had brown fur, and assume that he's instead renamed Spike, due to being paired by Chester and having grey fur. But there had been some shorts where Hector had been portrayed with grey fur, so this means that in this show, Hector having grey fur isn't case of Adaptational Dye-Job but instead case of Mythology Gag, referencing those cartoons where he had been shown with grey fur.
