The thirteenth film in the Land Before Time series. It was released on November 27, 2007.
Littlefoot and friends meet three yellow-bellied dinosaurs named Loofah, Doofah, and Foobie who have become lost on their way to the distant Berry Valley. The Yellow-Bellies don't seem very capable, so Littlefoot and the gang take it upon themselves to help them on their journey while sharing wisdom with them.
Tropes:
- Broken Aesop: The film seems to be trying to say "trust your instincts as well your mind", but sometimes comes across more like "just wing it and hope you get lucky".
- Foreshadowing: Perhaps a little too much. The film gives constant hints to the twist of Foobie being the "wise one" of the Yellow-Bellies, which might make said twist very easy to see coming from a mile away for some viewers.
- Goofy Feathered Dinosaur: The film portrays the feathered Yellow-Bellies (Beipiaosaurus) as scaredy-cat comic relief characters.
- Oh, Crap!: Loofah and Doofah's reaction when they realize the sharpteeth aren't a mirage.
- Informed Species: The Yellow Bellies are supposed to be Beipiaosaurus but they look more like mostly featherless Dodo's in appearance. They notably lack the most defining trait of therizinosaurs; their large, scythe-like arms claws◊.
- Red Right Hand: The leader of the Baryonyx pack has a scar that goes around his head.
- Shaking the Rump: Three Yellow-Bellies shake their butts during the song Yellow Belly Bounce.
- Savage Spinosaurs: The villains are a pack of Baryonyx (albeit very inaccurately portrayed).
- This Is Gonna Suck: Ducky going "Uh oh...!" when she and Petrie are about to get sat on by the Yellow Bellies.
- Toilet Humour: While sheltering from a storm, the Yellow-Bellies accidentally sit on top of Ducky and Petrie and one farts on them.
- Wham Line: When Littlefoot congratulates Foobie for finding Berry Valley, Doofah say's this:Doofah: That's why we call him the wise one.
(Cue the gang being surprised that the "wise one" was in front of them the entire time.)
