Big Shiny Toons is a fanmade series created in Canada on July 17th, 2010. The series follows the misadventures of the big shiny toons (who almost never get along)

The series is based off of the music album series "Big Shiny Tunes".

Big Shiny Toons provides examples of the following tropes:

  •   Accuse the Witness: In one episode, Selena accuses Otto of having destroyed Simon's train set

  •   Aerith and Bob: Some characters such as Otto, Simon, and Fiona, have common names, while other characters such as Nixon and Thora have rarer names

  •   Androids Are People, Too: Thora is a robotic humanoid, yet she can express human emotions and do human things.

  •   Animal Lover: Francine and Eleanor (Although in Eleanor's case, she's more of an ocean animal lover)

  •   Animesque: The characters are drawn in a anime like style, most notably, their eyes.

  •   Aren't You Forgetting Someone?: Fiona usually says this when someone forgets to mention her

  •   Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: In episode 45, After hearing that Terrence got in trouble with the police again, the other toons wonder what he possibly could've done this time, we then see a montage of all of the toons imagining a horrible crime that Terrence could've possibly committed, like assaulting someone or setting a building a fire, that is until we get to Francine, who simply imagines that Terrence might've littered a soda can on the ground.

  •   Art Shift: Episode 27 constantly has the art style change, it only goes back to the usual art style once the episode ends.

  •   Astronomic Zoom: Episode 10 starts off like this.

  •   Awkwardly Placed Bathtub: There's literally a bathtub in the dinning room.

  •   Badass Adorable: Eleanor can count as this, she's a cute little axolotl but she didn't hesitate to throw Terrence into the ocean.
