Donkey Is Missing [1]
, first released online in 2021, is a Crack Fic webcomic amalgamation showing the adventures of Shrek looking for the lost Donkey in a mysterious realm called Horseland, accompanied by some helpful stoners such as Barney the Dinosaur.
Donkey Is Missing contains examples of:
- Art Shift: In the world of Horseland, “dramatic art style changes” show something, well, dramatic is happening.
- Creepy Mascot Suit: It’s unclear whether Grimace is a mascot suit or the actual character, but either way, the eyeless sockets of thus McDonald’s mascot is definitely... something.
- Crossover Couple: Luigi and Shrek are implied to be this, as well as Gi Hun and Spongebob prior to their breakup.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Nearly all of the characters are taken straight from well known shows or movies.
- Stoners Are Funny: So funny that the main gang are almost constantly high on weed.
- Stylistic Suck: This comic wouldn’t be itself without purposefully sloppy (to say the least) spelling and art style, all topped off the the occasional lampshading and defying tropes.
