Rock Battle is a pivot animation created by Facepunch Animations. It focuses on the adventures of humans and their pet rocks.
Tropes:
- Author Avatar: Nicolas, the main character.
- Badass Adorable: Mini-Golems are also Pintsized Powerhouse. They're only knee-high, but they will kick your rock's act!
- Big "NO!": Nicolas in (the deleted) episode 2 when his rock dies in battle.
- Subverted after his rock is revived.
- Bishōnen Line: Rocks "turn into" mini-golems after reaching level 20.
- Level Grinding: Parodied. The rock's levels are even shown.
- But it can only be done 5 times a day.
- Non-Indicative Name: Lampshaded by the author. He hates the Artificial Stupidity of YouTube choosing the video tag that seems most relevant.
- Shout-Out: Obsidia's name (not the rock itself) is a reference to a Mon in Monster Legends.
