Peck is a robot.
  • In this scene, Peck is explaining in his campfire story that he created a robotic clone as a friend, until the robot betrays the real Peck and turns the latter into data that he uses to look like the real Peck. After explaining the story, Peck's head falls off, scaring everyone but it turns out the real Peck was pranking them the whole time. It might turn out that the campfire story was actually true, and the robotic Peck wanted to reveal himself as real, without hurting himself.
The characters live, somewhere.
  • It is possible that Sunnysidenote  is located in either Hawaii or Texas. I mean that's where Ryan and his family live in real-life, with them moving between the two states occaisonally.
  • Sunnyside could also be located in South Africa, as there's a suburb in Pretoria named Sunnyside.
The Ryan's World universe is an imagined fantasy of an Alternate Universe that's set in real-life
  • The World of Funny Animals is actually a world of humans, like ours.
  • The wacky plots are actually Ryan and his friends pretending.
The whole show is a hallucination.
  • In the Ryan's World universe, Ryan is actually an adult, who is homeless and a drug addict. The drugs he takes daily cause him to hallucinate, causing him to see his childhood friends as cartoon animals.
The cast were uplifted and live on a future planet Earth. Ryan and his family are the Time Lords looking after the animals, with Dark Titan being an outcast.
  • The characters are all anthropomorphic animals, but there are still some animals that aren't that sapient. Their houses are Bigger on the Inside. There are many mentions about real-world countries and states, so they are living on Earth of one sort or another.
  • Based on everything mentioned above, the cast's ancestors were probably uplifted by scientists on a future (or replica) planet Earth. We've only seen seven 'human' characters - Ryan, his family, and Dark Titan. They are all Time Lords keeping a discreet eye on things, but can't help getting involved, while Dark Titan was outcast and now planning for revenge.
The show is set in a post-apocalyptic future where only animals could survive after an epidemic disease.
  • The only ones who actually survived were the animals and those who managed to genetically merge with them, thus making them hybrids capable of surviving the diseases of the future.
  • Of course, in the end only a few species managed to overcome this situation, so the survivors grew closer and trusted each other, so they made a large city together where children can play outside without worrying of strangers.
Peck is one day going to snap and murder everyone.
  • Peck is moderately bullied and treated with little to no respect by his friends and even the show itself, with his friend Combo once giving him death threats and Peck's constant attempts at impressing others failing. Peck may one day mentally snap from the stress and murder his friends in a fit of rage.
    • C'mon, this is a kids show.
      • You Fool!, THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!
(Almost) all humans are extinct.
  • The series takes place in an alternative past to where most of the homo sapiens were deceased, probably from a nuclear war caused by World War II, and the animals that had managed to survive, were mutated in the waste, and later became super intelligent creatures. They later went to rebuild civilization. The decomposed bodies of the humans were later consumed by the evolved animals.
