Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: In this video, Ryan calls a Kinder Joy a Kinder Surprise egg. Kinder Eggs are illegal for sale in the United States (where Ryan is from) due to a law enacted in the 30's, and only Kinder Joys are available since they separate the toy and chocolate. This can be Justified, as Ryan is a small child and Kinder Surprises and Joys are often confused.
Follow the Leader: ToysReview was inspired by several other toy unboxing channels that preceded and are run by kids, such as Evantube and Hulyan Maya. He ended being highly more successful for them.
Thanks to its success, it gave a rise to even MORE toy review channels featuring kids. Some of those kinds of channels that predated Ryan adopted a style similar to his.
No Budget: The early videos are obvious, being made with an amateur video camera and an average individual's budget. Although a professional team of editors have been hired, as The Studio Space shows, the videos still show shades of this (Special Effects Failure, for example).

Princess Squad and Life Sisters
Missing Episode: All of the ABC Surprises videos on the latter channel have been removed from public view.
Ryan's Mystery Playdate
Adored by the Network: The series has been a massive hit on Nick Jr. as soon as it premiered, gaining ratings as high as those of PAW Patrol. It also airs on normal Nickelodeon timeslots as well, being the first series since Rugrats to air on both Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon.
The ratings have been so high that the series was renewed for a second season five days after it premiered.
Dueling Shows: With Blue's Clues & You!, another show where a character uses clues to solve mysteries. Possibly due to how popular Ryan is with the target audience of the Nick Jr. block, this show reigned surpreme, with higher ratings than Blue's Clues and You.
Screwed by the Network: In January 2020, reruns of the show were axed on the main Nickelodeon channel to make room for PAW Patrol, Blue's Clues & You! and the then-recently UncancelledBubble Guppies. The show now only airs when it has new episodes. Then, a month later, the Nick Jr. cable channel would give it the same treatment, giving it one airing a day at 4:00PM and having its' other timeslots paved over by PAW Patrol, Max and Ruby and the new import Trulli Tales.
