Restoration of Sonic.EXE, formerly known as Vs. Sonic.exe Restored, is a Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod created by Futagami and currently owned and directed by Merphi. It is the definitive and full recreation of the one and only crossover between Friday Night Funkin' and the Sonic.exe Creepypasta, Vs Sonic.exe, from the "restorations" of various scrapped songs to accurate recreations of various concepts and assets, all of which the mod's composers are currently working on finishing.
Initially, while under the Vs. Sonic.exe Restored name, the mod was cancelled due to a misdemeanor with the mod's former creator Futagami. However, 1 year later, Merphi claimed ownership of the mod and revived the project with a new development team. Oh, and they gave it a new name!

This Game Mod contains examples of:
- Ambiguously Evil: While most of the Sonics are Obviously Evil, and Sunky.MPEG and Exetior clearly mean no harm, Majin Sonic's nature is left vague, leaving him to fan interpretation.
- And Now for Someone Completely Different: All versions of the mod primarily have Boyfriend as the player character: however, in the unfinished OVERTHROW week, the songs see you take control of different characters, that being Tails_ALT for most of the week and Girlfriend for the currently-unnamed Sally_ALT and Sonic_ALT songs.
- Anti-Climax: In an unfinished preview of "Blind Love" (one of the songs confirmed for the mod), the song starts off chilling, but the preview ends right at the beatdrop.

Dummied Out:- While there are many characters in the mod, there are also scrapped characters, including Dumbfuck, Purple Guy, and more, all of which were scrapped either by owner request, or due to a lack of content, or time constraints.
- Additionally, Mimic was also initially a scrapped character due to a lack of content for him, but he was later added back into the mod, presumably due to the team wanting to make their own content for him.
- There were multiple different crossovers. For instance, a crossover with Restoration of Sonic.EXE and Sunday Night Suicide was initially planned with Merphi and TheShipySea, which ended up with the contract being terminated after that mod was cancelled 6 days prior. While the mod was under the Vs. Sonic.exe Restored name, a crossover between this mod and the upcoming mod "Vs. Rose.exe" was planned, but was ended after Futagami and O Mundo de Bê broke up.
- Joke Character: The scrapped character Dumbfuck is not actually a real EXE, but rather a joke character made by XenoTD. Additionally, Sunky.MPEG, Silly.TIFF, Sonichu, and Coldsteel are all meant to be joke characters.
- Stylistic Suck: Personnel has a much cruder art style than other songs. Additionally, Dumbfuck's scrapped song against Purple Guy features a crudely-drawn reenactment of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
- The Cameo: In "Blind Love", a leitmotif of "Her World" can be heard.
