The Mod that changed Plants vs. Zombies 2 forever.

Plants vs. Zombies 2: Project ECLISE is a mod created by goodpea2 and Mine Power, featuring an entirely different take of Plants vs. Zombies 2, where players need to use the gimmick of tiering and tough levels that requires players to build different defenses to defeat the zombies. The mod features custom contents including plants and zombies for the players, alongside custom contents such as minigames and custom levels by fans. It has been divided into Beta and Alpha, with each features different difficulty ramp.

The mod has ended its development in May 2023, with goodpea2 and Mine Power stepping down the mod. The mod is currently having three major different continuations: Solstice and 2.0, with fans picking up its pace.

Tropes

  • An Ice Person:
    • Crystal-shroom falls into this trope, due to her appearance plus her ability to chill zombies (freeze when fed with Plant Food).
    • Ice-shroom also falls into this, due to his crystal-look and ability to freeze zombies.
  • Dem Bones: The Zombie Amber, who functions similar to a Dry Bones, where it can regenerate itself when knocked down.
  • Enemy Mime: The Mime Zombie, who is a wide eater that can trigger an attack damaging the leftmost plant in his lane.
  • Invincibility Power-Up: The runes from Far Future can make a zombie invincible to everything when stepped on.
  • Invisible Jerkass:
    • The Shadow Zombie is completely near-invisible to a naked eye, yet can still be detected to plants. However, he can still eats the players' brains if they don't carefully detect him.
    • The Zombie Nether Dodo, who is cannot be detected by most attacks unless it flies over certain plants. It can even ignore mowers too... yikes!
  • Sticky Bomb: Sun Urchin mostly fall into this trope, as stated by goodpea2 that it was originally having a sticking animation on it, but due to limitations. Though what makes up for it is the sun carrier effect plus how fast the zombie react to it.
  • Non-Action Big Bad: Dr. Zomboss, now resolved to not directly attack his enemies, he now sits back and orchestrate them.
  • Nostalgia Level: Have you ever noticed that Invisighoul, Column Like See Em, and other mini games from the first PvZ game returning to this mod?
