Video Game / Markiplier's Adventure Of Fun

Go To

A series of cheaply-made Markiplier fangames from Curiousgorge55.

The series follows Markiplier and his friends as they battle evil forces and stop them from inflicting chaos onto their best friend, Sophie.note

The first three games were originally released on Media Fire in April 2015, but they were soon uploaded to GameJolt beginning in May 2015.

Not related to Markipliers Adventures, despite it being from the same creator.

Games in the series includenote :

  • Markiplier's Adventure of Fun (May 25th, 2015)
  • Markiplier's Adventure of Fun 2 (June 13th, 2015)
  • Markiplier's Quest for Coffee (June 13th, 2015)
  • Markiplier's Adventure of Fun 3 (November 6th, 2015)
  • Markiplier's Adventure of Fun 4 (November 6th, 2015)

Markiplier's Adventure of Fun uses the following tropes:

  • All Just a Dream: Markiplier's Quest for Coffee.
  • Berserk Button: Again, Mark hates Vanish to the point that he gets an automatic Game Over if you talk to the monster from the same game.
  • The Cameo: Several:
    • The monster from Vanish.
    • Yandere-Chan appears in Markiplier's Quest for Coffee. Answer her question wrong, and you get an automatic Game Over. The correct answer is "Senpai".
    • Several of the characters from Mark's previously Let's Plays have appeared as well:
    • Tiffany Quake.note
    • Spooky.note
  • Everything Talks: Well, everything that isn't a part of a building anyways. Subverted in 3, because the inmates keep their mouths shut when Mark checks them.
  • Forced Transformation: Every game except 3, since 3 revolves more around Sophie's mirror counterpart anyways has Sophie turn into a different animal.
  • Game Over: Can be achieved in Markiplier's Quest for Coffee, and only Markiplier's Quest for Coffee.
  • Idiosyncratic Episode Naming: Every game with the exception of Markiplier's Quest for Coffee is titled Markiplier's Adventure of Fun, followed by a number representing the game from 2 onwards.
  • Must Have Caffeine: Markiplier in Quest for Coffee.
  • Pragmatic Adaptation: Everything in the Gorge Fanon version of Markiplier's Quest for Coffee except for Markiplier needing coffee was removed when it was adapted into a videogame.
  • Shout-Out: Given that it's by the creator of a wiki, a webtoon, a webcomic, and a blog, everything might as well be obvious by now, despite the fact that they are only referred to as Sophie's cousins.
