Executive Meddling: Not much, but in the SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 series, three wrestlers were removed from the roster of characters due to the WWE not wanting them involved, those being Chris Benoit, note murder of his wife and son Orlando Jordan, note unclear, but may be related to rumours of underage sex offenses and Muhammad Hassan.note Controversy over the character Jordan and Benoit were removed prior to the series, while Hassan was part of the first few episodes before vanishing. Later on, mentions of Chris Jericho were edited out (though he remained as a character) due to Jericho's signing with AEW. This didn't last.
Kevin Owens the wrestler is incredibly witty and prone to outrageous bragging. Kevin Steen the guy still has that bone-dry wit, but is much quieter and leans toward The Comically Serious.
Inverted by Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair. Both ladies are serious and businesslike heels in the ring, super nerdy and talkative out of it.
Rusev inverts this, too (at least, before the whole "Rusev Day" gimmick brought more of his personality out). In the ring, he was a serious brute who rarely spoke. On UUDD, he's one of the most boisterous trash-talkers around.
Screwed by the Network: The large amount of WWE releases in 2020 and 2021 not only saw numerous channel regulars get cut, but ultimately resulted in both the UUDD and LRLR championships being vacated.
Writer Revolt: The reason the channel largely stopped releasing new content for 7 months from late 2021 to mid 2022note "Tekken Night #3" was the final gaming video in October 2021. Following that, Creed released a vlog about starting at G4 in December, and all content following that was dedicated to promoting the release of WWE 2K22 was because the WWE Roster started refusing to appear on the channel due to little Creed was actually paid for his work on the channel.
