• Acting for Two: Some of the wrestlers are played more than one actor. Some of the matches have instances of both competitors being voiced by the same person:
  • Wasabi vs Itsy Bitsy (Erica Schroeder)
  • Mugsy Thumbscrew vs Knockout Ninja, Mr. Extremo vs The Scorchion, Face-off Phil vs Scoutmaster Scott and Mr. Extremo vs The Visitor (Sean Schemmel). Schemmel also voices Dorsal Flynn, among many others in the short series.
  • Danny Kaboom and Weredog are played by Keith Vincent
• Channel Hop: Nicktoons to Cartoon Network.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: At this point, the series is on the verge of becoming lost media. With no reruns on television, no DVD or VHS releases, no streaming services holding it in their libraries, and practically no clips on YouTube or other video sharing sites, the amount of evidence that the TWF even existed is becoming increasingly scarce.
• Screwed by the Network: Originally shown in the US on Nicktoons Network and Kids' WB!. Now, on neither. (Granted, the latter no longer exists...)
• The Other Darrin: The Big Time was voiced by Keith Dawkins in Seasons 1-2, but was replaced by David Wills in Seasons 3-5.
• What Could Have Been: In Face-off Phil's bio video, there was footage of him fighting Corbata. No such match was aired, however. Likewise, in a recap video in Season 4, footage of a match between Knockout Ninja and Queen Nefercreepy was shown, with Queen Nefercreepy winning. Like the aforementioned match, it was not aired.
