Trivia / The Hero Yoshihiko and the Devil King's Castle

• Acting for Two: Season 3 has a tower of 7 trials, and the castle manservant doubles as the "host" for every one of them, with just a change of wig and clothing. Subverted as he's really Cast as a Mask.
• Actor Allusion:
  • Melub summons something akin to a Spirit Bomb to deal with the Demon King. Of course, the voice of Freeza is ready for it.
    • The third season OP also looks like something out of Dragonball Z, which Jam Project vocalist Hironobu Kageyama was famously involved with.
  • In episode 6 of the second season, one of Yoshihiko's challengers on a tournament kept calling him Serizawa, a character Takayuki Yamada played in Crows Zero.
  • The guy running the beach house with his foster sister is Kagami Arata/Kamen Rider Gatack. Kabuto/Tendo is actually the one with a non-biological sister.
• No Budget: resulting in Special Effect Failure and Fight Scene Failure, although they are mostly a matter of Stylistic Suck.
• You Look Familiar: Shizuka Nakamura returns in season 3, and true to the point of this trope, she's Cast as a Mask both times.
