• Died During Production: The writer, Dondi Bethea, aka DMajorBoss on DeviantArt succumbed to cancer on May 6th, 2013. Despite this, they decided to continue the comic in his memory.
• In Memoriam: This strip was dedicated to Doni "DMajorBoss" Bethea, who was a story editor for Bleedman.
• Screwed by the Network: The comic itself, if rumors are true. Members of Bleedman's production team say the decision has been made to cancel Sugar Bits as a comic in order to maintain a constant focus on PPGD. Some who have heard this news are NOT happy, to say the least. Some feel that bad planning decisions were made in the comic's production but it was not given a fair chance to stand out; particularly when other projects like PPGD and After Birth were being worked upon. Eventually, despite the loss of the previous editor, someone convinced Bleed to keep it going.
