• Creator Backlash: Sean has stated multiple times on 1-900-HOTDOG and its Dogg Zzone podcast when the subject comes up that he's not proud of many of the jokes he used to make, considering them both cruel and unnecessary for the sake of the bit. One article dryly mentions him encountering "words I remember being funny in the 2000s but look like hate crimes today" when poring over his old files to remaster a former CRACKED piece that was taken down.
• Executive Meddling: EGM edited a few of Sean's reviews when he wrote for them; on his webpage, he details the changes made to his Top 20 Worst Games article, including changing the wording of his article to make it look "tougher" and replacing the "g" in all his gerundial verbs with an apostrophe, making the article sound like he was "yellin' it from the back of a pickup truck."
