Trivia / Quest of the Delta Knights

  • Acting for Two: David Warner. According to this interview, Warner was actually the one who suggested that he play both parts to save the producers money after the original actor cast as Vultare dropped out.
  • The Cameo: Crazy Fat Ethel has a bit role.
  • Dawson Casting: Tee is younger than the actor for the first third of the movie, but they only gave the actor shorter hair to show it. This leads to some odd moments early on in the movie that would make a lot more sense if he wasn't clearly a teenager, like Thena being so protective of him (and then not recognizing him after the time skip), him panicking over the sight of a man removing a fake beard, and the popularity of his dancing.

  • Deleted Scenes: The video release is slightly longer than the Mystery Science Theater 3000 edit, notably adding more scenes with Vultare and the Mannerjay.
  • Old Shame: A notable aversion, as most of the name actors involved have only good things to say about the experience. Per the above interview, Warner clearly had a blast making it, while Richard Kind said that he was honored having the chance to work with both Warner and Olivia Hussey.
  • Talking to Himself: David Warner, besides serving as the narrator, plays both Baydool the spy and the Big Bad Lord Vultare, leading to some amusing moments.
