• Acting for Two: Tsumugi, at least for the first two seasons before his passing in 2023, provides voice samples for every single Molcar.
• Anime First
• Descended Creator: Tomoki Misato, who directs the series, plays the live-action version of the DJ Molcar's owner.
• No Export for You: The first season (and as of March 2023, the second season as well) largely averts this, but the compilation movie is exclusive only to Japan. In season 2's case, the episodes were still posted onto the official Youtube, but they are region locked.
• Real-Life Relative: Tomoki Misato's sister, Mizuho Misato, plays Potato's driver. She is also the real-life owner of Tsumugi, the guinea pig who provides the voice samples for all the Molcars and appears as the live-action guinea pig in Episode 11.

• Sleeper Hit: When Winter 2021 started, the series was low on everyone's radars, as it was an original IP with not a lot of advertising on top of it being a series of net shorts. By episode 2, it started growing in popularity, until it became one of the most highly viewed and rated anime series of its premiere season.
