- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game has yet to be rereleased on any platform. And getting a legitimate copy of the game can cost a lot, due to the game being Japan-exclusive and requiring the SNES mouse, which is rare in itself.
- No Export for You: Although the game was only released in Japan, the text is written entirely in English. There were plans for an international release, but the release was cancelled, most likely due to poor sales of the (required) SNES Mouse.

- The bucket appears in Kirby Super Star as treasure and Super Smash Bros. Melee as a trophy.
- The boss Junker from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story has an attack where he drops trash bins on Mario and Luigi's heads and they both end up stumbling around blindly just like this game where they move on their own with their arms out.
- Wanda herself makes an appearance as a spirit and has a spirit battle in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where you even fight against hernote , Mario, Peach, and Yoshi.
