• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Sho requested the English fan translator of the manga to cease in favor of supporting the official release, since at the time, they were posting the second chapter, which was meant to be paid for on his site, as he's self-published. The translator offered to translate for free and let it be sold, but Sho declined, not wanting them to work so hard for nothing. Sho instead proposed an English script for people to read, and initially the translator agreed, though they would later decide that it wouldn't be worth it, and combined with Sho not responding for several weeks, and they went ahead with translating chapter 3. The reason for the slow response, however, was that Sho had actually been in talks with Simona Stanzani, the translator for Pandemonium Wizard Village, and was told about the idea of making a Kickstarter project. Upon learning about the chapter being posted to 4chan, needless to say, he wasn't happy. The fan translator wasn't happy either, and posted the e-mail they'd gotten in a thread while making Sho come across as more spiteful than he actually was. Sho had also asked that they not do work on his other mangas. However, this did lead to Sho making the Kickstarter to get an official English release for the story and the translator still supports him by paying for the chapters.
