• Acting for Two: Several voice actors in the game return as the various Sister Location and Security Breach characters they originally voiced, with them now being in the same game.
  • While Circus Baby and Glamrock Chica, both of whom are voiced by Heather Masters, have been in different games in the past, this time, both of them are able to be encountered in the same game. Heather Masters also voices the Nurse who guides the player during the First Aid levels.
  • Kellen Goff has previous experience with having voiced both Glamrock Freddy and the Daycare Attendant, but now his previous role of Funtime Freddy joins them in Help Wanted 2.
  • Marta Svetek voiced both Roxanne Wolf and Vanny previously, but now they are joined by another role she voices, new character Mystic Hippo.
• Deleted Role: Although Marta Svetek is credited as Vanny, the character has no lines in the final version of the game.
• Descended Creator: Jason "jtop" Topolski, co-founder of Steel Wool Studios, voices Foxy in the game.
• Dummied Out:
  • Vanny has several cut voicelines confirming she instructs the player to see her messages, confirming she made the graffiti, and guides the player through Princess Quest IV.
  • A hard mode variant of Bonnie Bowl featuring Montgomery Gator was planned, but very unfinished. Monty also has an unused jumpscare animation in the game files. In the final version, the only appearance from Monty is his render in the character gallery.
  • Unused subtitles confirm Glamrock Bonnie would have spoken in the Bonnie Bowl level via the PA system.
  • The Tangle is referenced in the code of Fizzy Faz, confirming he would have appeared in that level at one point.
• Meme Acknowledgement: Many fans have noted that Kellen Goff's voice for Glamrock Freddy reminds them of Optimus Prime. This game introduces a line of blocky action figures of the FNAF gang very reminiscent of the original The Transformers toys from the 80's.
• The Other Darrin: Foxy is recast from Christopher McCullough to Steel Wool co-founder Jason "jtop" Topolski.
• Refitted for Sequel:
  • An earlier version of the Bonnie Bowl minigame was originally planned to be in Security Breach before being cut out of the final game. Although it was expanded to include random events (such as gator heads, the PlushBabies, and Moon), it was finally implemented in Help Wanted 2.
  • Although the original Help Wanted had a character gallery, Security Breach was originally planned to have one as well. Help Wanted 2 brings back the character gallery, with the Security Breach characters finally making an appearance as part of it when their original character gallery was scrapped.
  • When failing the Arts and Crafts minigame, Sun threatens to put the player in time out, referencing a cut voice line in Security Breach that he spoke, both as Sun and as Moon. He also jumps up and down happily upon beating the level, similar to a jumping animation from an early gameplay trailer for Security Breach.
  • A teaser image for the Custom Night in Sister Location featured Bon-Bon climbing in the vents when, in the actual game, he can only be sent down the hallways. In the Funtime Gang level, Funtime Freddy can now also send Bon-Bon down the vents, finally making what was once only a teaser now part of the game.
• Role Reprise: Andy Field returns as Dread Unit, Heather Masters returns as Circus Baby and Glamrock Chica, Marta Svetek returns as Roxanne Wolf and Vanny, and Kellen Goff returns as Glamrock Freddy and the Daycare Attendant, as well as Funtime Freddy via archive audio. Through archival audio, Michella Moss, Zehra Jane Naqvi, and Becky Shrimpton also return as Ballora, Bidybab, and Bon-Bon.
• You Sound Familiar: The Carnie is voiced by Cameron Miller, who previously voiced Montgomery Gator (the only major Security Breach character entirely absent from the game).
