Trivia / Epic Jungle Show

Go To

  • Acting for Two: A three-fer with HandsPlasticX voicing Brush and Joystick, Hicc voicing Pearl and Glockenspiel and c00kiecache voicing Leek and Baguette.
  • Throw It In!: Baguette's voice actor disclosed that all their lines weren't scripted and in fact just him coming up with random topic after topic and recording it in one take, likely to represent his character's Motor Mouth, Cloudcuckoolander tendencies.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Brush was originally gonna be a mop but the creator changed it so it'll be easier to animate
    • Baguette's shtick was gonna be overexplaining a joke instead of rambling nonsense non-stop (The production crew realized that would be too annoying).
    • The show was first thought up as a comedy with a touch of psychological horror before it switched to a full-blown comedy since the creator couldn't get the script to work.
  • Word of God: According to the man himself:
    • Brush and Pearl's design were intentionally picked to be general and vague objects (since he didn't want a pre-existing object show character with a Palette Swap or other small design changes) but also someone he could see in the first season of Battle for Dream Island. On the filp side of the coin, Leek and Baguette were inspired by Vocaloid artists Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto respectively but only the objects associated with them, not their personalities.
    • Pearl's personality was based on another object of the creator called Tofu. However, HandsPlasticX made the cautious decision not to make Pearl too geeky or too sarcastic so as to avoid similarities with his Tofu character.
    • Glockenspiel, Hicc's OC that got recommended into the show, didn't have Exhausted Eye Bags, aer current design or aer constantly grumpy personality such that Hicc considers EJS's Glockenspiel to be a separate entity than the actual one he uses.
  • Word of Gay: In a Q&A, HandsPlasticX confirmed both Brush and Pearl to be gay (although he also stated they would not date each other because of their clashing personalities).
  • Working Title: The show was called "Cool Jungle Show" in its original concept before the creator thought the show was more epic than cool.
