• Acting for Two: Pierre Coffin as all the Minions.
• Market-Based Title: At Universal Studios Japan, the Japanese title for the ride is Minions Hacha-Mecha Ride.
• No Export for You: Averted, as when this ride opens at the Universal Studios Singapore, it will be the only ride that can be found at all of the Universal parks, a title previously held by Shrek 4D. And as of 2022, Shrek has since been closed at the domestic Universal Parks (Florida and Hollywood) and the versions of that ride still left are in Japan and Singapore.
• Recycled Set: The Japan version of the ride re-uses quite a bit of the exterior from Back to the Future: The Ride for its queue line.
  • Averted in the Florida version, which even has an altered layout compared to its predecessor.
• What Could Have Been: An early draft of the attraction involved Vector from the first film returning for revenge and attempting to kidnap the girls again, leading to him and Gru having a big showdown right in the middle of Gru's chaotic laboratory.
