• Acting for Two: Michael Bailey Smith plays both Shax and The Source of All Evil.
• Completely Different Title:
  • French: "Adieux" (Farewells)
• Creator Backlash: Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty took time to mock how anticlimactic Prue's death scene was, the former saying that they "looked like we're taking a nap" after getting thrown through the wall. The latter likewise says her choice for Prue's death would be for a demon to possess Piper and blow her up, then leaving Piper with the guilt that she'd caused her own sister's death.
• Directed by Cast Member: Shannen Doherty directed her final episode.
• Flip-Flop of God: Shannen Doherty maintained for years that she had wanted to leave the show and directed this episode knowing it would be her death, deliberately making the end scene as dramatic as possible. However, in 2023, she revealed that she had actually been fired due to threat of a lawsuit from Alyssa Milano, and she had no idea this was going to be Prue's death.
• Hostility on the Set: Holly Marie Combs admits that Shannen Doherty's caustic attitude while directing caused some. For example, after she had done a really intense take of Piper's death on the operating table that was especially draining, the latter insisted on another take insisting "I think you can do that better". She did however say that there were plenty of male directors who spoke the same way to her in other episodes, and their behaviour was rarely heard about.

• Prue dies for the third and final time. Prue died the least amount of times through the series but is the only sister who remains dead in the tv show. She does however come back in the comics.
• Continuing the tradition, the manor door is magically closed. This time however it is violently done by Shax as he leaves the manor.
• Phoebe is the first Charmed One to enter the Underworld.
• This is the first episode where the Source of All Evil is shown on-screen.
• During season 3, the Charmed Ones vanquished 22 demons, 5 trolls, 3 warlocks, 1 darklighter, 1 priestess, 1 banshee and 1 life essence.
