- Christmas Rushed: The reason for the Black Friday Special of 2015 having traditional 2D graphics instead of 3D animation. More particularly, the Christmas Special of 2013 was delayed for early January 2014 after a seriously Troubled Production.
- Creator Backlash: Older works from 2013 were explained in the form of Stylistic Suck in Season 3 Episode 8 and the opening scene in Episode 9, because of the zaniness and nonsensicality that was worse than how it was since 2014. Ace also now cringes at having self-inserts being significant, and also his Creator Breakdown in the beginning of season 1.
- Creator Breakdown: In March 2014, he was wrongfully banned from the TTS wiki for his efforts in portraying his struggles on the autism spectrum, especially since the said admins had severe Selective Obliviousness. This led to him portraying their actions in a very negative light during this period.
- Franchise Zombie: The increasing amounts of error requests pushed the series more than expected.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Ever since Ace closed his first account in 2015, Season 2 Episode 3 was the only full episode that was reuploaded. The other reupload of this Funny Windows Errors series was a clip from Season 1 Episode 10.
- Official Fan-Submitted Content: The series runs off of user-submitted errors, and a few jokes from them had influence on the story, such as the Moving Victoria virus, a gag where Sam spazzes out to a clip of a random Moving Victoria ad. note
- Reality Subtext: Occurs during the second half of Season 3, especially in Episode 7 when the characters' older designs berate Sam for closing the old YouTube account. The rest of the subtexts were about Sam lampshading the closure and the return to YouTube with very little resources remaining.
- Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Since April 2019, a composer for soundtracks of his friends' works, had a scandal involving pedophile interactions with several users. This led to Ace desperately trying to replace him as a composer to avoid anymore trouble.
- Throw It In!: In the Season Finale, the creator has decided to keep certain otherwise mistakes, such as the black center in the "Overboard Burst" battle animation, and Dark Ace remaining in his idle animation when being hit by it.
- Troubled Production: The Christmas Specials of 2013 and 2015. During the production of the 2013 special, the creator needed to search for a program for the voice of "Siri". This was back when he was naive enough to not be aware of third-party content in certain applications. In this case, it's the Mac voices that were introduced in OS X 10.7.
- The Season 3 Finale, for real life issues such as having no internet for a week.
- The 2015 special was changed to the 2016 special after working on the 3D animations late, and for not having internet at the creator's Christmas vacation place.
- What Could Have Been: After Ace closed his first YouTube account, Season 3 Episodes 5 and 6 were delayed for a year and a half after being announced in the ending bumpers for Mac Voices Reads Funny Windows Errors THE FIRST and Season 3 Episode 4. Also after Ace announced other projects such as EAS Alert Bloopers and others that were potentially forgotten.
