Bakuage 5: The Peacekeeper Won't Give Up
- It's hard to not feel bad for Jou in the first half of this episode. He's rejected by Taiya to become a Boonboomger, suffers numerous beatdowns from Darts Grumer, and when he reports the Grumer's appearance to the Boonboomgers, you can see him clenching his tears when Taiya tells him to stay away from the situation. In a moment that also doubles as an awesome moment, he also tries to save the Boonboomgers from the Grumer, suffering even more. It's only after he earns the ability to become Boon Black when he gets awesome and happier moments in this episode.
Bakuage 8: The Runaway and Division
- Mira and Jou accidentally find out from Genba the real reason why the Boonboomgers were formed - Taiya and Boondorio's dream is to hold the "Big Bang Grand Prix", a grand prix held amongst the top cars throughout the entire universe. The two are understandably upset by this revelation, as it betrays what they thought the team stood for. While Jou struggles to comprehend his feelings, Mira is angry at Taiya for hiding something so huge, a sharp contrast to her usually unwavering sense of trust in him.
- In the middle of his fight with MadRex, Taiya declares that his dream must include defeating him. When Mira expresses her confusion and discomfort by this, Ishiro tells her that they need to trust him, only for her to retort that she can't possibly do that after the revelations from earlier. The rest of the team's reactions imply that this is a shared thought.
- In the series' first Downer Ending, the episode ends with Taiya collapsing after tiring himself in the fight with a giant MadRex, but not before Mira calls him out for risking his life along with the team's just for his dream.
Bakuage 9: The Courier Team's Handle
- Boondorio before his first meeting with Taiya. After having his license to drive revoked after an accident, the poor guy was stripped of the one thing he felt was his sole purpose and was left wandering into space before crash-landing on Earth.
