TLP Drafts (not including ones I'm already working on)

Main Page

One for Hall, and Hall for One
Laconic: The so-called "hall of fame" referenced by a pair of characters doesn't actually exist, so they strive to create one separately after creative differences.

    Lacking Strike
Laconic: Small-scale strikes/percent rallies being used for comedic purposes, whether or not they're actually successful.

    Animal Audition Outlier
Laconic: An anthropomorphic animal (usually a dog) is contrasted with regular dogs by way of how they're trained in animal competitions.

    Fortepiano of Estrangement
Laconic: Lovers or Ship Tease that are separated first by a chaotic past or future, then by a more melodic lack of rhythm that's suddenly cut short before their fate is up in the air.

Another Referee's Ringing, Another Life Cycling
Laconic: In alien cultures, the intensity of a fight up until one of the fighters realizes that all the people have left for whatever reason is based on uncontrollable violence in a life cycle being treated as tradition.

    Dynamic Depth Desocializing
Laconic: Questions about depth perception for a character are immediately answered by their friend, to establish the kind of character who would ask those questions in the context of a dynamic group.

    Rigor Mortis Operandi
Laconic: The repeated death of a character spurns them to work out and refine their muscles, for any given reason.

    Morph in Addiction
Laconic: Someone's addiction causes them to actually morph into the Anthropomorphic Personification of it, rather than just hallucinate it.

    This Boute-en-train Has Tolls
Laconic: The biggest party animal in a work's canon, whether or not there's actually a party going on, is usually going to be found outdoing their more major character party-animal cousin across the border/states.

Trivia

    Tempest Forging
Laconic: Actors are instructed to act as if there's a major storm/hurricane going on, with the added ability that they can improvise their gathering of material in the situation.
    Placating the Metaverse
Laconic: The creators of a work follow throwbacks to an old show's/cartoon's metaverse and draw conclusions from the most serious parts so that they won't have to revise as many things later.

YMMV

Carrying on the War Word, Son
Laconic: Real-life war chants sung by a certain character in a work's fandom have a tendency to become reenvisioned as fictional, and maybe even indecipherable depending on the specific character's personality.
