Recap / Yu Gi Oh VRAINS Ep 75 The Demon Possessing His Heart

Go To

As Playmaker observes Earth and GO's Duel, he notices that there is something different about GO. GO goes all out and uses his powerful Dinowrestler monsters to overwhelm Earth. As the fierce battle between them rages on, GO suddenly uses some unexpected tactics!

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Cruel and Unusual Death: After Earth is defeated by GO, captured and turned in to SOL Technologies, his body is gradually lasered bit by bit until he is completely terminated.

  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Subverted. GO appears to have been impaled by the blade hurled towards him by Earth's Skill but it turns out he actually caught it with his arm using his new Skill, Anti-Skill, which negates Earth's Skill as if nothing happened.
  • Kick the Dog: GO coldly ignores Earth's pleas to not destroy "Crystal Heart", ruthlessly smashing it into multiple pieces while Earth can do little but to scream helplessly before GO captures him and turns him in to SOL Technologies.
  • No-Sell: GO's new Skill, Anti-Skill, which completely negates Earth's Skill (on top of drawing two cards from his deck).
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: SOL Technologies. After GO defeats and captures Earth on their behalf, they waste no time dissecting Earth bit by bit until he is eventually terminated. Poor Earth...

  • Single Tear: Spectre sheds a single tear after Earth is completely terminated by SOL Technologies, uncertain of what it is he feels.
  • Tactical Withdrawal: GO is forcefully logged out of LINK VRAINS under Queen's orders (thereby ruining his chances of getting back at Playmaker immediately after capturing Earth), placing a higher priority over Earth's retrieval.
  • Taking the Bullet: GO chooses to have "Chimera T Wrextle" destroyed instead of "Giga Spinosavate" after Earth activates "Trilithon's" Effect to prevent "Crystal Heart" from being destroyed and in turn destroying "Giga Spinosavate".
