- Absurd Altitude: The Wall of Doom in the rock climbing room, which is somehow covered by clouds.Grizzly: (worried) Is that ice up there?
Kid: (unfazed) It's close to the AC. - Aesop Amnesia: Despite experiencing horrifying trauma from a virtual reality simulation in "Googs", Panda once more willingly puts on a VR headset in cycling class and naturally becomes freaked out again at difficult mode.
- Bratty Half-Pint: The taunting little boy who competes with Grizz on the rock walls, though he does drop the attitude after Grizz saves him from a fall.
- Brick Joke: In the beginning, the trainer gives the couch to another trainer, who starts doing reps with it. At the end, that couch is what saves the Bears when they fall off the roof and land there.
- Insistent Terminology: Ice Bear objects to being called a polar bear.Ice Bear: Ice Bear is ice bear.
- Never Mess with Granny: Despite Ice Bear's initial reluctance to spar with them, the old women in tai chi class turn out to be much more capable than he expected, being able to beat up and overwhelm him, even when Ice Bear is actively trying to fight back against them.
- Post-Victory Collapse: After finishing their workout sessions, the Bears all fall asleep on the couch from the beginning of the episode.
