The girls (sans Will) alongside Elyon go to a local bookstore to find a book to finish Taranee's school essay, (and to see Cedric in his human form). However the four guardians find a strange book which teleports them to Meridian where they learn about Phobos' missing sister and how he mistreats his people. Upon learning of their arrival, Phobos sends his Tracker to find them.
- Failed a Spot Check: The girls for some reason don't find strange that a random bookstore has a book with Meridian writing which teleported them there.
- I Owe You My Life: The girls feel this way towards Phobos' servants after they helped them to escape the castle and gave them their food. Caleb assures them they're good people and someday they'll help them back.
- Likes Older Men: Both Cornelia and Elyon are attracted to Cedric in his human form. And that was the reason they go to the bookstore.
- Long-Lost Relative: The girls discover that Phobos has a missing younger sister, who is the rightful heir to the Meridian throne and is living on Earth unaware of her true identity.
- Irma: A sister?, could she be one of us?
- The Reveal: It's revealed that Phobos enslaves his people to work in his castle, mines and stables for a meager payment.
- The Labrynth: The girls are teleported to Phobos' library which is this.
- Trail of Bread Crumbs: Taranee makes one in the labrynth with the thread of Cornelia's handmade sweater, much to Cornelia's dismay.
