Original Airdate (Twitch): October 14, 2020:

Da Krew sets out in order to obtain the three treasures of Dave-3. Along the way, they blow up a rock, find some spare teeth, and are temporarily blocked by a comically large locked door.

The Emperor Protects

  • Accidental Murder: It turns out that, when Gadzookz crashed onto Dave-3 after his not-death, his impact left some collateral damage...
  • Already Done for You: Da Krew ends up not having to deal with the sky giant guarding the "Bawks o' Teef", because Gadzookz coincidentally bifurcated it while first crashing onto the planet.
  • Big Door: There's a large one embedded into a mountain. When Da Krew eventually opens it, only Mawp can fit in the passage, which leads all the way up to a land in the sky.
  • Crossover Punchline: It takes a while for all of the players to understand it, but tattooed on the dead sky giant's wrist are the words "It's All Ron's Fault".
  • Death Seeker: The Chaos Spawn repeatedly utters the phrase "Kill...Me..."
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Da Krew successfully guesses Irakam's name and gets a key to continue...but since the riddle was annoying, they decide to kill him and burn down his house (a tree) anyways, magic beans and all. Soon after, a Snotling gets booted over the horizon, even after giving them a Chameleon Cloak, just for being annoyingly happy.
  • Excalibur in the Stone: On the way to their first treasure, Da Krew blows up a suspicious rock that contains a blessed Imperium ceremonial dagger, inscribed with the phrase "The Emperor Protects". The regular Orks are hesitant to use a humie weapon, but in Mawp Bukkit's hands, it ends up slaying a Chaos Spawn guarding the shiny steel.
  • Futureshadowing: Da Krew successfully obtains "da Magik Mirror", which does indeed grant visions of their future, depicting them meeting a cowboy orc on Spitroast's planet some time tomorrow and a tree-dwelling Gretchin in their immediate future.
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: The "birth" of Bbbbb has Mawp briefly swap their Capri Sun for a flask.
  • Multiple Head Case: Aaaaa trying to use his powers to locate the three treasures leads to another growth on his head...but this one's sentient, and calls itself "Bbbbb".
  • Precision Crash: When Gadzookz first crashed into the planet, he landed exactly on top of a giant that would have otherwise impeded Da Krew's quest.
  • Running Gag: All instances of Disproportionate Retribution are preceded by Ed Bosco, Gronk's player, making his intentions clear to the DM with a "Hey Connor".
  • Sdrawkcab Name: Just like the source material, it's not enough when Da Krew manage to remember the name of famous Gretchin Makari the Grot; they have to say it backwards to correctly guess the name of the Gretchin currently in their path.
  • Sea Monster: While leaving Gray Ham's castle, Da Krew notices there's some kind of beast in the moat, though they choose not to interact with it.
  • Thousand-Yard Stare: Mawp gives one directed at the floor when the rest of Da Krew talk about how fun it would be to feed humies to the creature in Gray Ham's moat.
  • Wham Shot: After successfully slaying the Chaos Spawn, Mawp suddenly gets a flashback that heavily implies Aaaaa murdered one of his human friends and claimed their hat.
  • What Could Have Been: The creation of Bbbbb was the result of a Wrath die re-roll, and Word of God is that the original roll would've summoned a demon, derailing things severely.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: The connections to King's Quest continue, with a "dragon" guarding the shiny steel, and trying to guess the name of a small figure to earn a key.
