The Amoeba Boys once more try to do some villainous activity to make a name for themselves when they're approached by a mysterious being calling himself Silico who gives them the opportunity via virus software and directly sends them into the internet to plant it. The Powerpuffs soon see the Amoeba Boys on their video game and Bubbles, who has computer programming skills, transports Blossom and Buttercup in to stop them.

- Silico tells the Amoeba Boys to plant his virus software into the internet because it would wipe it out, cause a worldwide catastrophe and would really annoy the girls (he had to convince them with the latter).
- Bubbles later does a similar thing with describing what the loss of the internet would mean; GPS would be useless, satellites would go off course and anyone who played her game (including her sisters) would lose all of their special weapons.
- Auto-Tune: One of the videos the girls end up in makes Blossom speak it.
- The Bad Guy Wins: The girls stop the Amoeba Boys but are unaware of Silico. What's more the chip he sent with them still spreads his virus over the internet as intended.
- Body Horror: When Bubbles doesn't program Blossom and Buttercup right, they look like a grotesque mishmash of body parts.
- Carry the One: When the girls are scanned into the Internet, Buttercup comes out scrambled because Bubbles forgot to add a comma.

- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Even though they stopped the Amoeba Boys, the girls didn't destroy the chip they were carrying and as soon as they leave, it opens up and spreads Silico's virus through the internet.
- Pie in the Face: The Amoeba Boys take a pie from one video and throw it at Princess Morbucks while she's doing a makeup tutorial.
- Sequel Hook: Silico succeeds in the first phase of his plan and the girls aren't even aware of him yet.
- Walking Techbane: Professor Utonium somehow catches Bubbles' computer on fire.
- Worf Had the Flu: Inside the Internet, Blossom and Buttercup have to walk since Bubbles couldn't program in their powers.
