- Applied Mathematics: According to The Critic, Henry is what would happen if Hannibal Lecter and HAL-9000 had a devil spawn. He holds up a visual card (Lecter + HAL = Henry) to demonstrate this.
- Lost Voice Plot: He couldn't speak due to yelling so much the movie.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: Doug Walker temporarily lost his voice at the time he made this review, so instead of speaking, he did the review in subtitles, facial expressions, and holding up signs. The only word he spoke in the entire review was "AAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!"
- Running Gag: The mother always looks like she's posing for a commercial.
- "Ch-ch-ch-ch..." dubbed over various clips of Henry being evil.
- Shout-Out: In one scene, Henry surprises Mark when he turns a corner. We then cut to Fletcher shouting "HOLY HELL!"
- Suddenly Voiced: The Critic managed to squeeze out "AAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!" to describe the film.
- Talking with Signs: The Critic uses cue cards instead of speaking.
"PS - I know I spelled 'monkeys' wrong."
