It's the only movie to ever win a Razzie Award in all categories, one of the most despised flicks ever made, and the Nostalgia Critic is forced to review it.
Release date: April 10, 2018
Review of: Jack and Jill
This review contains examples of:
- Anything but That!: When the Critic absolutely refuses to review this movie, Malcolm tells him it's just Adam Sandler, to which the Critic wails like a bratty kid over having to look at it.
- Attack! Attack... Retreat! Retreat!: Appalled by the blatant Product Placement in the first four minutes of the movie, the Critic screams, "JUST TELL A STORY!" Cue the appearance of Jack's twin sister, Jill, to which the Critic cries, "Go back to the product placements! Go back to the product placements!"
- Catch Phrase Interruptus: At the end of the review, the Critic says, "I'm the Nostalgia Critic. I remember it—" The Robbers of Joy show up at that moment to ask him what to do with the joy they collected.
- Continuity Nod: The Critic's initial trying to shirk his duties of reviewing this movie is similar to his failed shirking of his responsibility to review The Star Wars Holiday Special.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: The Critic initially tries to sneak out of his responsibility to review this movie.
- Shout-Out: The opening sketch is a funny recreation of the final arrest scene in Fargo.
