Recap / The Americans S 3 E 8 Divestment

Go To

Elizabeth, Nagobo, and Philip take Todd and Venter to an abandoned building. Elizabeth is about to shoot Venter, but Nagobo kills him instead by setting him on fire, which freaks Todd out enough he tells Elizabeth about a bomb he and Venter were planning to plant on campus. Once they get the bomb, Nagobo wants to kill Todd as well, but Elizabeth convinces Nagobo to let him go.

Walter Taffet questions Martha and Aderholt about the pen. Martha realizes Walter is from the agency "Clark" claims he's from, and asks "Clark" who he really is. "Clark" insists he loves her and would do anything to protect her, but while Martha says she's convinced, she still looks troubled.

Nina gets assigned to watch over Anton, to make sure he's doing the work, and to get close to him like he did to Evi. She tries to do so by bringing him food, but Anton tells her unless she's a scientist, she's of no use to him.

Elsewhere, Igor calls Arkady to ask why his request to have Oleg reassigned to Moscow hasn't been granted.
