Tahr Whyler's secret plans come closer and closer to disastrous success, Clone Force 99 continue their covert mission, Anakin works with his latest ally to escape, and Nerva encounters the Faithful Flame, and risks being devoured by its Machine Spirit. Heresy abounds! Can anything save us from our sins?!

Tropes in this episode include:

  • Battle in the Rain: The fight between Tahr Whyler and 65's Chaos-corrupted clone troopers early in the episode happens in the midst of a heavy downpour.
  • Big "NO!": Wrecker when he sees the servitor guards kill Trashy.
  • Didn't See That Coming: The attack from 65's Chaos clone troopers completely throws Tahr off his game as nowhere in his plans did he account for the clone troopers to have come to his location due to Chaos being a Spanner in the Works.
  • Evil Versus Evil: The episode has Chaos-corrupted clone troopers led by 65 attack Tahr Whyler and his Inquisitorial retinue.
  • Fingore: 65 crushes the fingers on Tahr's right hand with his armored boot.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: At one point during the opening segment's battle, Tahr telekinetically grabs a clone jet trooper out of the air and uses his body to smack away four other Chaos-corrupted clones.
  • Gunship Rescue: Right as Tahr is trapped in a Neck Lift and is about to be mentally overpowered by 65's Chaos patron, Tahr's personal Gun-Cutter comes to the rescue and swoops in while raining fire down upon the Chaos clone troopers, giving Tahr the opportunity he needs to escape from 65's grip, reclaim his weapon, and find cover.
  • Handicapped Badass: A Chaos-corrupted 65 proves to be a major threat capable of physically overpowering Inquisitor Tahr Whyler even while missing his left arm.
  • Neck Lift: Tahr Whyler (in a rare moment of vulnerability) finds himself being neck-lifted into the air by a Chaos-corrupted Commander 65 in this episode.
  • Reverse Polarity: Anakin manages to use the Force to reverse the polarity of one of the twelve Blackstone rods which the Inquisition had stuck into Khayon to nullify his Warp abilities, transforming the rod from a power suppressor into a power amplifier. This is so Beyond the Impossible that Khayon himself is dumbstruck at this.
  • Simple Solution Won't Work: Happens between Anakin and Khayon as they make their way through the Inquisitorial prison aboard the Luminous Reign.
Anakin: I could have just cut us out from the ceiling, and it would have taken us three minutes instead of fifteen!
Khayon: Perhaps, but the ceiling is reinforced with Adamantium. Even if your weapon could cut through it, I doubt it would have managed it quickly enough to avoid raising the alarm. Given the choice between the two-
Anakin: Better to be crammed into the walls for fifteen minutes, then crammed in this room with the rest of the ship.
  • Sword Beam: While fighting 65's Chaos clone troopers in the rain, Tahr channels his Warp powers into his black rapier and swings it, sending out a shockwave to counter a hail of incoming blaster bolts.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Tahr horribly underestimates 65's clone troopers in this episode, assuming that he alone could force them to rout by killing a large enough number of them and even ordering Jackal and Omni-Kraiden to take shelter in a fortified Imperial outpost instead of backing him up. He might have been right had he been fighting regular clone troopers instead of ones that were corrupted by Chaos. 65's clone troopers are in such a battle frenzy that they don't care how many of their brothers Tahr cuts down, and the Inquisitor is nearly overcome by their numbers and would have died at 65's hands if Terrandor's battlegroup hadn't shown up to save him.
  • Villain Opening Scene: The episode starts with Tahr Whyler and his two agents awaiting the arrival of their gunship so they can leave the area and enact the next part of Tahr's plan, only for their escape to foiled by a sudden attack from 65's Chaos-corrupted clone troopers.
  • Villains Out Shopping: The episode has a scene where some of the Blanks serving on the Luminous Reign are shown playing a game of strip poker in their spare time before they're suddenly interrupted and killed by Anakin and Khayon.
  • Zerg Rush: 65 and his Chaos clone troopers are able to defeat Tahr Whyler by catching the Inquisitor by surprise and attacking him with overwhelming numbers all at once so that the Inquisitor is too busy fending off thousands of attacks to concentrate enough to use his Warp powers.
