To seek something is to believe in its possibility.

The campaign to free Onderon from Separatist control continues. Now armed with Jedi training and backup, it's time for the rebels to strike a real blow to Separatist forces. Next target: the Iziz power generator, without which the droids will be unable to recharge.

Tropes:

  • Batman Gambit: The rebels ambush a droid squadron so that reinforcements will be called, including a tank, which they will need to destroy the generator.
  • Call-Back: Steela mentions that the Separatist droids are no longer linked to a central computer.
  • Centipede's Dilemma: During the training in the previous episode, Lux had the least difficulty with the "rolling a droid-popper through a destroyer's shield" trick, because he was the most relaxed and wasn't thinking too hard about the technique. When he has to put it into practice here, Saw reminds him of the technique beforehand, putting Lux off and causes him to get it wrong.
  • Chekhov's Skill: The abilities taught to the rebels in the previous episode - namely, how to bypass a destroyer's shield and disable a droid tank - come in handy during their attack on the power generator.
  • EMP: Besides the omnipresent droid poppers, the rebels set up a larger device in a speeder to knock out even more droids during an ambush.
  • Night-Vision Goggles: The rebels wear them during the nighttime attack on the power generator.
  • Off with His Head!: One of the battle droids gets its head pulled off by Saw in order to access the layout of the generator stored in it.
  • Put on a Bus: Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Rex leave partway through this episode after feeling that the Onderonian rebels are ready to start working on their own, leaving Ahsoka on her own to observe their progress.
  • Shoo Out the Clowns: While there are B1 battle droids in this episode, they get significantly fewer lines and none of their comic relief antics in the movies or earlier seasons.
  • Tank Goodness: The rebels hijack a droid tank and use it to destroy the generator that allows them to recharge. Saw also uses it to run over a large group of droids just for the hell of it.
  • Your Terrorists Are Our Freedom Fighters: Every Separatist-aligned character refers to the rebels as "terrorists".
